Nicky joined Hitherbest in 2018 and is the daughter of the company’s founder Chris Evans. She is chair of the Board of Directors and oversees our ambitious plans to grow the business.
Steve Hindley
Production Director
One of our most experienced members of staff, with over 20 years’ service, Steve is our production lead. Having worked as a programming engineer for many years, Steve has risen through the ranks to Director and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of our machinery and processes.
Adam Hirons
Sales Manager
Adam joined Hitherbest in 2015 and as Sales Manager is at the forefront of our relationship with our customers, working hard to ensure they always receive exceptional service and care. Adam has worked in the sheet metal industry since 2000 and has a detailed understanding of fabrication and design.
Marcus Clayton
Finance & Office Manager
Marcus joined the company in 2015 and is a pivotal member of our team. In addition to handling all aspects of company finance, including customer and supplier queries, he is our administration lead and usually the first point of contact for anyone with a question.
Scott Hindley
Assistant Operations Manager
Scott joined Hitherbest in 2006 and is our most skilled member of technical staff. Working closely with the Production Director, he oversees production on our shop floor, carries out much of our staff training and optimises the performance of our equipment and key pieces of plant.
Kieren Greenwood
Assistant Production Manager
Kieren joined Hitherbest in 2017, initially working on the press brake. He subsequently transitioned to programming engineer, before joining the management team in 2023. Whilst Kieren still spends much of his time programming, he also liaises with customers in the scheduling of work for production.
Lee Evans
Estimator
Celebrating 25 years with Hitherbest in 2021, Lee has been in the role of Estimator for over a decade. Respected and admired for his organisational skills and attention to detail, Lee strives to answer requests for quotations within 48 hours of receipt.
Lucy Bryan
Purchasing Officer
One of our newest members of staff, Lucy joined Hitherbest in 2021 with several years’ purchasing experience already under her belt. Lucy ensures that the materials we use in production are high quality, supplied on time and represent good value for money for our customers. She also assists the management team with internal audits and quality standards.
David Jones
Programming Engineer
Our most experienced engineer, David has been with Hitherbest for 21 years. In addition to his programming expertise, David’s knowledge and understanding of the technical requirements of our customers’ products is a huge asset to the business.
James Brown
Programming Engineer
James (Jay) is one of the newest members of our team. Jay joined Hitherbest with 6 years of experience in a large engineering business, where he combined technical roles – setting and operating a range of CNC machinery – with programming and design. Jay also has experience of quality management.
