As you would expect, we are developing contingency plans to ensure that we can continue to meet our customers’ expectations in the event that a significant number of our workforce are required to self-isolate.
We have a hugely experienced, flexible and skilled team, so at the present time we are confident that we can maintain our output. Similarly, we have received assurance from our suppliers that our ability to source raw materials is not at risk. However, should lead-times be adversely affected then our customers will be contacted via the usual channels at the earliest opportunity.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and our customers remains our highest priority, and visitors will notice that we have instigated rudimentary biosecurity at our Telford site as a precaution.
At present we have no plans to enforce a company shutdown, but we will of course adhere to any advice from the UK government or local authority. In the event of an enforced shutdown customers will be notified by email as soon as possible.
